- Our Tools of the Trade: We operate a Mac G5 and PowerBook, both with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Mac: The preferred file formats are 100% Adobe Illustrator or PDF, CMYK Mode, Black. Additional charges may apply for Quark Xpress, Creative Suite, Photoshop, PageMaker, and colorized files.
- PC: Macintosh created files are preferred; however, we can accept PC file formats in PDF or EPS (Encapsulated PostScript).
- Disks: CD’s only
- Email Files:
- Mac: When emailing a file, please put all files in a folder, stuff the folder with StuffIt, and send to mac@letterpressgraphics.com.
- PC: When emailing a file, please put all files in a folder, zip with WinZip, then email file to mac@letterpressgraphics.com.

- Helpful Hints: for smooth job-flow from your plant to ours and back:
- PROOFS: We require 100% laser (or inkjet) proof of your file to compare our output against. We will not create dies from digital files unless such proof is provided to compare our output against. Please include on the proof your company and contact name, phone & fax number.
- FOIL STAMP/EMBOSS DIES: Always provide art CMYK 100% Black; and always 100% image size. (Colors, gradients/tints are not acceptable for stamping/embossing dies) Always provide art converted to solid format (not outline), unless multi-level die is involved. Call for assistance on such dies.
- Remove all masks, convert all strokes/fill to outlines.
- STEEL RULE DIES: Remove all color imaging input, leaving only outline pattern 100%. Preferred format is EPS for steel rule dies.
- For register foil or embossing requirements (to print), film charges will apply.
